Another IL reject!

Sometimes my comics are just too much for the newspapers! So I post them here for you to pick apart (or support)! LOL

too nerdy for newspapers

From my newest batch of writing – an ULTRA-GEEKY strip that directly references one of the greatest deliciously nerd-things of all time – Douglas Adams’ “Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy!”

Deemed wayyyyy too nerdy for newspapers… but not for the INTERNET!

This is how one of my roughs looks in my writing process.

*REJECTED!*

Do YOU think this would be too nerdy for a newspaper? 😉

  1. It’s OK if you’re occasionally “too nerdy for newspaper”, but if you ever get deemed “too nerdy for the internet” you may want to start to worry….

  2. I feel we spend way too much time pandering to the stupid and lazy. Ramp it up and let them catch up to you. Might just make them smarter.

  3. My only issue is its not quite nerdy enough. 42 never was established as the answer to the life universe and everything, but merely as the answer to the ultimate question. Jury was still out on the question by the end of the series.

  4. I don’t think it works that way. If you open up a restaurant that only serves the food that you and your friends like, in the hopes that it will force everyone else to have a more refined palate, people just won’t eat there, and you will soon be unemployed.

If talking way over people’s heads made them smarter, then Dennis Miller would have made us a nation of geniuses by now.

  5. (The above comment was supposed to be a reply to @Someoldguy’s previous comment. Apparently the reply feature didn’t work.)

  6. In the amazing career mode you can actually request funds from your clubs chairmen once every transfer window.
They played against the Bahamas in Group B. Spread buyers of the group index will be concerned that the side have only once before made the finals, in 1982.
